Profile
Tommy Walkila represents clients on criminal, civil, and administrative law cases. He advises companies, organizations and private individuals. In the firm, he specializes in litigation and dispute resolution, as well as, freedom of expression and privacy cases. He provides legal advice on issues relating to proceedings before public authorities and international human rights. He is a member and approved mediator of the Finnish Bar Association.
Prior to co-founding the firm, Tommy served as Legal Counsel for the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the network of Finland’s embassies around the world and dealt with public liability issues and complex legal proceedings. He has successfully completed judicial training for judges in Finland by resolving a range of criminal and civil cases at a District Court and has experience in handling cases of business-related financial crime. He clerked for Judge A. Rosas of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
